Posting Your Clock To Us

We appreciate many clients may be apprehensive sending a carriage clock to us in the post, but we have several steps to ensure clients clocks are protected in transit to and from us.

The first way we protect clients clocks is to provide the option of using our own tried and tested packaging. Our anti-shock inflatable packaging is the perfect way to protect your clock from the shocks a clock can receive in transit. It’s similar to bubble wrap but with more padding and made from much thicker plastic. This protects the carriage clock during transit.

Our packaging kits are extra convenient as they not only provide maximum protection for your carriage clock but also come with everything you need to safely package your clock.

We also use discreet, unbranded packaging, and our workshop address will not give any indication of its contents. This prevents the risk of theft during transit.

Of course we still recommend you insure the clock while it’s in transit, and use a shipping method that prevents the package being left with neighbours or a safe space, and is tracked throughout its journey.

Once With Us

While your clock is with us it will be treated as if it’s our own.

When not being worked on clocks are kept in a locked safe. The workshop is fitted with CCTV and a monitored alarm system.

Our address doesn’t feature online, and there is no branding on the building to imply valuables are kept onsite.

On Its Way Back To You

We use the same secure packaging we supply at request to send the clock back to you, and we insure the clock during transit back to you. We use Royal Mail and only use a delivery method that prevents the postman leaving with neighbours or in a safe place. The carriage clock is tracked at every step.

Going The Extra Mile

If you own a clock of particularly high value we offer a variety of custom options to help. This can include bespoke packaging solutions, through to secure couriers which collect the clock and bring it to and from us. These couriers are accustomed to transporting high valuable items.
